Well I ordered some Stradas. They should be here next week and go on very soon.

Well, They are done at 5850. So I got a little over 4k out of the Cont Road Attacks. The front is showing threads on one side and the rear is flat in the middle. Is that good or should I be looking for a new brand to replace these? All of my riding in in town very very little on the highway?

I have the problem as 04Rockster... I just wanted to know if he fixed his problem or not...

So did you ever figure out the cause of the problem... My bike just did the same thing today. So here i am... Any info would be great. Could be the coil but not sure how to check it...

Hey hevnbnd, I though a MC jack wouldn't work on the 1150's because of the CAT. Since the jack is meant to raise a cruiser style bike by connecting to the frame, how do you position it under the 1150? Mind sharing a couple pictures? Hey I forgot to take any pics... Well new tires back on and ran it down the street. Got a little crazy at first. :roll: forgot that they are slick. But got a foot down and all was good. Just thought I would mention. Sears sells a moto atv jack for about $100 and it works great. Well worth the piece of mind not to have my bike fall... I have my ed80 up on it now about to pull the tires off and was looking on the forum for some tips.

So Contis are a good choice then..... I might try them next. What are opinons the M1 Sportec? I can get them for the same price as the Contis and Pilot Sports (which is slightly cheaper than Z6s and Stradas).... :) You do NOT want the M1 from what I have found. They will not last very long at all. ...

Well ordered the Conti Road attacks for $190 shipped to my door. So I figure if they last 5k then it was a good investment. Thanks for the input guys. I will let everyone know how I like them. Brian
