Just went out to local Pep Boys and picked up 2 Purolator PL10241 plus an oil removing tool for less than $15, tax included. I also found Mobil1 M1-102 and AC Delco PF53 in the same place. Used the tool to remove the stock oil filter and install the new one.

I had the same problem two days ago. I also used a DMV to measure the voltage output of the battery tender and it read 0V. Further study of the manual, it stated that the battery must be at least 3V in order for the unit to work. I went back and cleansed the brass connector which plugs into the side...
