Thanks CycleRob. I am going to run a mile after seeing the pics as I don't feel confident removing the shaft mech. My limit would be wheel, shock and exhaust. I'm taking it to a local bike mech who has done a slave on his 1150gs before.

Has anyone fitted the Migesl GPS mount to their bike?
I have just purchased one and am keen to use peoples ideas on how they have routed the cable from the fairing to the GPS unit, before I start drilling holes, and finding there is a neater way of doing it.
