I had exactly the same problem on my Rockster today and tracked it down to a faulty foot brake switch. The previous owner had fitted a Wunderlich footrest lowering kit, however it hadn't taken me long to discover that the previously unblemished 'hero blobs' were decking out just about everywhere, so...

So, question, what is a Blackster? Hi, sold my Fireblade a couple of weeks back and as of last night I'm the proud ownwer of a Rockster!! Bit of a culture shock from the barking mad Blade, but I'm sure we'll (the bike and me) get along fine. Heated grips, hand guards, GS screen, Remus silencer, Staintune 'Y' piece, BMW panniers, Bagl...
