It is most likely a safety feature. Do not shift into neulral untill you are in 1st or second gear speeds, you are inviting all kind of unsafe, craziness by doing so. What happens if you do find neutral going 60, and have an immediate need to speed up? You going to take the time to shift up to 5th? ...

That thing looks Brand New!

Its a completely different vibe than the jap bikes. You will soon find joy in all that torque, I promise you! I came from the world of Ninja's and started out a bit dissapointed inthe lack of HP, but love the bike now. Definately take the advise from the other members on here and get it tuned!

I tend to gravitate towards vehicles that are strange, or un-popular. I dont like going with the crouwd, so a limited edition bike with weird potrusions out the side is right up the alley for me!

Thanks for the warm welcomes! How's the transition from sport bike to standard? It took about 2 days of riding to get used to it. Now, it seems to be more nimble, and I like the down low torque. the cornering seems a bit easier (maybe because of the wider handle bars) Its definately a lot more comfy...
