I use elbow grease! It's not nearly as clean as DJ's. I think he uses a commercial kind of elbow grease we can't get in the state!! :lol:

I hope there are no heat issues! Like melting bags! or melting turn signals!I'll keep ane eye, ...er... ahh,...or a nose on it! I have not taken it out for the amusement of my friends yet either. Now I can go to the annual rat run with pride!! Ha! :lol: Mike

I had removed my stock can a while back & reinstalled it. Then I had this idea,................I wanted to put a fishtail extention on it like an old school chopper, one of my band mates presented me with an old pair of them from an old chopper, I took both & made one for my 1150r, Ha! http:...

Heya every body & thanks Soggy Bottom! I did what you did & ground some meat off of each side of the bolt collar & gfained a quarter inch of the stock mounting bolt into the hole & going deeper than my stripped threads. Thanks for the idea, it seems to be real tight, on with the test...

thanks everybody, I KNOW I saw a top mounted mout , I just can't remember where I saw it. I will work on a solution & post my results soon.

cam chain slap

What you are hearing when decelerating is the cam chain slap. This can be fixed! there is an updated tensioner. I think I have even read a post describing the entire install! Check the archives!
Congrats on your new ride! I also have a black 2003 r1150r non-abs.
