Re: Rockster Tank Bag?

Thanks Hank, thats good to know. I'm leaning towards a Rapid Transit Recon 19-anyone have one? I would greatly appreciate any input. Thanks again.

Rockster Tank Bag?

Just wondering what is the best tank bag for both looks and functionality. With the high tank on the Rockster many bags just stick up to far, so I'm interested in your opinions and pics. Also if anyone is selling one I may be interested. Thanks and ride safe!!

Re: Low idle RPM and engine cuts off when revving too gently

I have had some throttle cable problems lately and in my searching your problems came up several times. I'm sure there are other people here who could help you more but you might want to check the accelorator and both throttle body cables for wear and make sure the ends are seated right. Good luck.

Re: throttle body sync

As usual, Boxermania was right. After using a mirror to see the inboard side of the left throttle body, I could see the o-ring wasn't seated properly. I still cant get the vacuum to be exactly even at certain rpm's, but the bike runs better than ever. I think the gauge I have is just too sensitive. ...

Re: throttle body sync

Thanks for the reply-I double/triple checked the seating of the cables at the throttle bodies. It guess it is possible one isn't seated right in the junction box, but checking that would require pulling off tank, battery tray, and left throttle body again. That was basically the disassembley I did. ...

Re: Sargent seat on the Rockster

I've got a low seat on my Rock for everday riding and a Sargent that I use on long trips. I traded a high (maybe standard-don't remember) seat for the low from someone on here so I could be flat footed at rest. When loaded up or with passenger I use the sargent. And yes it is far more comfortable fo...

throttle body sync

It all started when I swapped bikes with a buddy on a Sunday ride. I rode his Boxer Cup Replica (very sweet) while he rode my 04 Rockster and he noticed right away that my throttle was not nearly as smooth as it should be. I have had the bike for about 4000 miles and it has been like that all along ...

Re: Tank Rattle?

I am having a very similar problem with my rockster. I pulled the tank off to replace the fuel filter and have had a very noticable rattle especially at low rpm's ever since. It is the worst when cold and under load. Like you, the noise will go away when I press on the tank. I have checked the bolt ...
