Have 107,000 km on 2002 1150R and have enjoyed every minute of it. Regular maintenance and wiring replacement under warranty (gas tank leak). No final drive issues other than gasket replacement (touch wood) and take yearly 3 week trip of 8,000 plus km. First and probably last bike in my garage.

Have lost 1 of my system case helmet locks. Not actually a lock but a metal bar that slips through the helmet D-ring and under the handles of the system cases. Can't remember where I purchased it from - does anyone know who supplies/manufactures this particular item. Thanks Added link: http://forums...

Thanks for the responses - will consider the options; like the looks of the Wunderlich but I had not taken into consideration the accuracy issue.

I am trying to find a thermometer that fits in the top plug of the steering post - I have seen it somewhere and thought it was in the Wunderlich catalogue but no such luck. Could someone please direct me or provide an alternative solution

Have put 70,000 Km on 2002 1150R and replaced the seal at 40,000 and the seal and rear bearing (slight clicking when checked) at 70,000 maintenance so from my experience would say you are good to go.

Hello Am pleasantly surprised to have found this site. Since purchasing 02 R1150R in May02 (have 70,000 happy km on it now) have since provided it company with an 82 R100RT (90,000 km) and an 88 Honda Nighthawk (13,000 km) which my son uses.
